Difference Between Exam City Slip and Admit Card
The examination city intimation slip and the admit card serve different purposes. The city slip informs candidates about their allotted examination city so that they can plan their travel in advance.
The admit card provides the final examination-related details and is required for entry into the examination hall. Therefore, candidates who have already downloaded the city slip must still obtain their admit cards before appearing for the test.
Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates should download their admit cards as soon as the link becomes available and read all instructions printed on them. They should carry a printed copy of the hall ticket and the identity documents specified by the commission.
Reach the examination centre according to the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. Avoid relying only on the examination city information when planning the final route, as the exact centre address will be provided separately.
Candidates are advised to follow updates published on the official UPESSC website and avoid treating the expected release date as confirmation that the admit card is already available.
