Assam Police Constable Medical Standards

  • Applicant must be free from physical deformity and diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, hernia, piles, respiratory disease, knock-knee or flat foot.
  • Applicant should not be colour blind or squint-eyed.
  • Distance vision must be 6/6 in at least one eye and not poorer than 6/9 in the other eye, without correction. Near vision must be normal.
  • A varicose vein is treated as a temporary disqualification.
