Why Was the UP Homeguard PET Postponed ?

As per the official notice, UPPBPB revised the PET schedule “keeping in view candidate convenience, safety, exam fairness, and smooth conduct of the process” — the continuous rain across Uttar Pradesh made it necessary to push the physical test back from 8 September to 14 September 2026. With the monsoon still active in the state, the Board has now also pushed the admit card release date itself, from 7 September to 10 September 2026, so the document reflects any further centre-level adjustments before it reaches candidates.ade it necessary to push the physical test back from 8 September to 14 September 2026.
