Age Relaxation:
- PwD (Divyang) candidates get an additional 10 years relaxation in the upper age limit.

BSFCSC Syllabus 2026 (Post-wise Subject Overview)

- General Studies: General Science (everyday awareness), current national and international events, History of India with focus on the freedom movement, Geography of India, Indian Polity and the Constitution, Panchayati Raj, and Indian economic developments.
- Mental Ability Test: Analogy Test, Numeric Test, Ordering Test.
- Indian Language (Hindi & English): Ability to read and understand serious prose, and to express ideas clearly in English or Hindi.
- Management (Assistant Manager only): Management Information Systems, Human Resource Development, Managerial Functions, Management Control Systems, and Marketing Management.

BSFCSC Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
- Selection is based on an Online Computer Based Test (CBT). Post-wise and category-wise merit lists are prepared based on total marks obtained in the CBT.
- Tie-breaking rule: If two or more candidates score equal total marks, the candidate with higher marks in Section A ranks higher. If still tied, higher marks in Section B decide the rank. If still tied, the older candidate (higher age) ranks higher.
- Candidates included in the merit list will be called for counselling/interview by the Bihar Sanyukt Pravesh Pratiyogita Pariksha Parishad (BCECE Board) as per their merit rank.
- Original certificates will be verified at the time of counselling.
- Shortlisted candidates undergo a medical examination; final appointment is subject to being found medically fit.
- Note: This CBT is conducted only for panel formation based on merit — it does not guarantee appointment. The panel formed will remain valid for one year only.

- Selected candidates are not permitted to take up any other part-time/full-time job or business during their service with BSFCSC Ltd.
- The appointment is terminable by either side with one month’s written notice or one month’s salary in lieu of notice.
