RSSB has announced positions for teachers at various levels. In the primary level (classes 1-5), a total of 5,636 positions are available, which includes 187 positions in the Sanskrit Education Department and 5,449 positions in the Primary Education Department. In the secondary level (classes 6-8), a total of 2,123 positions are available.

At the primary level, 187 positions are available for Sanskrit subject and 449 positions for general subjects. At the secondary level, various numbers of positions have been announced in different subjects. These positions are divided into reserved and non-reserved areas.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for teacher positions must fulfill the following conditions.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have passed the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 or 2025 in the relevant subject at the corresponding level. Additionally, they must submit certificates for their graduation degree and teaching training qualification.

Question Format

Each question has 5 options (A, B, C, D, E). Candidates must mark only one option with a blue ballpoint pen. It is mandatory to fill the circle darkly on the answer sheet.

If a candidate does not want to answer a question, they should mark the fifth option (E). If more than 10% of questions have no circle marked, the candidate may be declared ineligible.

Question Paper Content

The examination includes subjects such as General Knowledge, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Hindi, and Sanskrit. Additionally, questions are also asked on Educational Psychology, Teaching Methods, and Information Technology. The question paper is based on the Rajasthan curriculum.

Educational Psychology (20 Marks)

Teaching Methods (Subject-Related)

Understanding subject-specific teaching methods is essential. For language subjects, language skills; for mathematics, mathematical proficiency; for science, scientific methods; and for social studies, social analysis questions are asked.

Language Subjects

For Hindi, English, and Sanskrit subjects, language knowledge, literature, grammar, and communication skills topics are included. Questions on prose, poetry, drama, journalism, and language teaching methods are also common.

Science and Mathematics

Important topics in science including biology, chemistry, and physics are asked. In mathematics, questions on number systems, geometry, algebra, statistics, and probability are included.

Application Process

The application for RSSB teacher recruitment is done completely through an online process.

Steps for Application

First, candidates need to log in to the Rajasthan SSO portal. Then, select the Recruitment Portal available in Citizen Apps (G2C). After that, click the “Apply Now” button.

If the candidate has not paid the One Time Registration (OTR) fee before, they must first register on the OTR website by entering their category, disability status, and native state information, and then pay the prescribed fee.

The fee for candidates from the general category creamy layer is 600 rupees, 400 rupees for non-creamy layer Other Backward Class, Extremely Backward Class, Economically Weaker Section, and Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe from Rajasthan, and 400 rupees for all disabled candidates. Candidates from other states or special categories are treated as general category candidates.
